Visit Us

We maintain an office with a Research Library and Museum Center on the second floor of the Alexandria Courthouse.  Researchers will find family files, books on local history, information on local churches and cemeteries, school histories and yearbooks, and numerous other research sources. Visitors can enjoy our Museum Center which houses a large antique camera collection, items from the 1896 murder of Pearl Bryan, appliances from the past, and many other items of local interest.  Of note is a sizable exhibit of memorabilia and artifacts from the old Speers Hospital.

We welcome visits from the curious and researchers.  Our Library and Museum Center is open on:

Tuesday                     10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Thursday                   10 a.m. – 2 p.m

Saturday                    10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
